Wouldn’t it be cool if….you could tour an island on your own time, with a guide that waits for you in your pocket?

The Task:

Years ago the Georgia Sea Grant Program created a CD that served as an audio tour of the ecology of Jekyll Island. The technology used to create this tour has been made obsolete. Newer technology is available that can provide this information in a more user friendly and informative way.

Our Solution:

Make a mobile application that contains the information on the CD. The application will contain a map to navigation of the island easier. Information on the app will be more easily accessible without the need to search through tracks. The app will use definitions, images to provide more explanation to scientific principles and processes on the island.
